The importance of economics increases, but education in economics plays only a minor role in schools. Economic coherences do not only fill our everyday’s life, but are also important in most professions. Because of this it is even worse that young people do not deal with economics in school.

The business simulation SimEconomy is able to change that: pupils gain first insights into economic coherences by hands-on learning. This way of educating pupils both boosts motivation and enables quick and effective learning.

During the business simulation the pupils act in different roles. Economic thinking and acting constitute the basis for success in the simulation. Pupils face everyday problems concerning production, negotiations and competition and have to find solutions for them on their own.

Thus different players react differently to new situations – just like in real life.
